About me

I am a cycling guide based in Hakodate and Southern Hokkaido. Having worked in the bicycle industry for many years, I now use my experience to introduce visitors to the unique attractions of Southern Hokkaido through cycling tours and walking tours in Hakodate. What I value most as a guide is not simply riding a bicycle, but helping guests discover the nature, history, culture, and stories of the people who live in the places we visit. From the historic streets of Hakodate to the magnificent landscapes of Onuma and Mt. Komagatake, Southern Hokkaido offers a wonderful combination of mountains, lakes, and the sea. Traveling by bicycle allows us to slow down, stop along the way, and discover scenery and stories that might otherwise be missed. Rather than focusing on speed or distance, I want my guests to take their time, enjoy the scenery, and connect with the local community and its stories.
