About me

Born in the Philippines, I am a native speaker of English and Tagalog, with full professional proficiency in Japanese. I lived in Indonesia and Singapore before settling in Hokkaido in 2010. I also work in translation and travel planning. I am a licensed Travel Services Manager and a certified Master of Hokkaido Tourism. My hobbies include tenipon and driving around Hokkaido.

Why a trip to my region is worthwhile

I want to share with you the charm of Hokkaido through my perspective as someone who moved here from overseas. I have experience in guiding groups from various countries such as the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia, both in urban areas and natural environments. My company focuses on the growing trend of “slow travel” which involves spending more time in one location and getting an authentic experience of the local community and culture. I also love to learn about the home countries and cultures of foreign visitors to Hokkaido, and I always look forward to hearing your stories and experiences.
