Matsuzawa Naoki
- Central Hokkaido
- Canoeing
I first encountered canoeing at the age of 17. Since then, I have been walking the path of Canadian canoes for over 20 years. In 2010, I moved to Lake Shikotsu, where my current base of operations is located, and have been “creating a story that can only be told here” with three pillars: environmental conservation, tourism promotion, and regional revitalization. In the future, I aim to further develop Lake Shikotsu, while also using my experience in this area to help revitalize other regions.

Born in Furano, Hokkaido, I spent my childhood immersed in outdoor play year-round.
After traveling for about four years through New Zealand, Canada, and Australia, I returned home and began my career as an outdoor guide.
I started guiding for rafting and canoeing about 15 years ago, and I’m still guiding here in Furano today.
Exploring rivers like the Teshio, Ishikari, Biei, Chubetsu, Sorachi, Shisorapuchi, Nunobe, Mukawa, Yubari, Chitose, and Shiribetsu, among many others.

Toshihiro Kato
- Northern Hokkaido
- Canoeing
- Rafting
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1971. Loved camping since childhood! After discovering kayaking, he was drawn to rivers, and his first overseas trip was a 250km river trip on the Yukon River. Wanting to go down more rivers, he quit his job as a salaryman and moved to Hokkaido. While traveling around the prefecture in search of new rivers, he is also interested in environmental issues and learns about the importance of nature with local children.

IORI Tsunehiro

I have been guiding for 27 years now, so by 2025, I will have been a guide. From leisurely to intense river and sea kayaking, sea and river SUP guiding, summer mountain and winter mountain backcountry guiding, I am active throughout Hokkaido in a full range of fields (river, sea, mountain), so I can make your dreams come true. My base is the Niseko area in central Hokkaido.

TERASAWA Takaki
- Northern Hokkaido
- Nature
Terasawa has lived on Teuri Island since he was 22 years old, photographing seabirds while working on their conservation. Terasawa takes you on a small boat into the world of seabirds that he knows so well, on the “Seabird Adventure Cruise.” The lively expressions and energetic behavior of seabirds seen up close is dramatic in itself. This cruise will be a special seabird experience for you.
